ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka will impose power cuts of up to 2 hours and 30 minutes on June 20 and 21, starting from 12noon, to help online education, Public Utilities Commission (PUCSL) Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said.
Power cuts will be imposed on the following areas in blocks of 30 minutes and 2 hours.
1200n – 1230pm and 0230pm-0300pm – G, J, L, V
0230pm – 0300pm and 0500pm -0530pm – D, E, F, P, Q
0500pm – 0530pm and 0730pm-0800pm – K, H, I, R, S, T
0730pm – 0800pm and 1000pm-1030pm – A, B, C, U, W
