ECONOMYNEXT- Sri Lanka’s embassy in Brazil said it is promoting the island by collaborating with the Brazilian Association for Travel Agencies (ABAV- DF) with an online event with travel agents in Colombo held in June.

The embassy said 60 Brazilian participants attended the online event.

President of the Brazilian Association for Travel Agencies Levi Jeronimo said that Sri Lanka is a ‘must-visit destination that provides diverse activities and attractions with value for money.

The embassy said Brazil’s Secretary of Tourism Vanessa Mendonca has extended her organisation’s fullest cooperation to promote Sri Lankan tourism in Brazil.

Sri Lanka travel agencies and tour operators such as Jetwing Travels (Pvt) Ltd, and Aitken Spence Travels (Pvt) Ltd had promoted tourism packages their companies offered at the event. (Colombo/June19/2022)
