ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s main stock index dropped 1.76 percent within the first hour of trade on Friday, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.
The main All Share Price Index was down 135.63 points to 7,569.64 at 1142 hours.
The most liquid index S&P SL20 fell 2.41 percent or 59.40 points to 2,403.69.
The market saw a turnover of 651 million rupees in the first hour.
Top losers were LOLC Holdings, Browns Investment and Expolanka. (Colombo/June17/2022)
