ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s shares are falling for the second straight session on Monday (17) dragged down by index heavy shares Lanka IOC and LOLC, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.
The main index has lost 0.57 percent or 52.28 points to 9,041.09 at 1100 hours.
Most liquid index S&P SL20 down 1.47 percent or 40.85 points to 2,741.88.
Market generated a turnover of 1.1 billion rupees.
Top losers were Lanka IOC, LOLC Holdings and Expolanka. (Colombo/Oct17/2022)
